‘Verse Beeldwaren’ is the name of the photographic duo Geertjan Cornelissen and Nancy Ostermann.
We like to depict stories, preferably those in which reality and fiction mix. About the raw fringes of society. About people who don’t participate.
It seems like everyone nowadays only wants to show their best and most beautiful side. With filtered smoothed out photos on social media.
The photos we show during this DDW in PLAN-B are part of such a story in which we want to show the unfiltered beauty of what is mainly experienced as ugly, deviant and maybe even Filthy.
