EXPO // Jordie Rovers
GLIM, a collaboration with Eigengijs.

Graphic work is Rovers' main focus in which the steps from an archaeological investigation are leading in the creation process. Uncontrolled changes in form and context emerge in the result of his visual research.

During Dutch Design week Jordie will present prints in which wear and repair play an important role. To create these prints he uses the same materials and techniques which Eigengijs is applying on his furniture series.

Without having a fixed studio, Rovers switches between different places during the week. He produces his printings at Grafisch Atelier Daglicht Beeldenstorm. This place offers many opportunities when it comes to graphic printing techniques. He says: ''It’s not the space itself which that has influence to my work but the techniques the space has to offer.''
